Met Éireann urges locals in Carlow and Kilkenny to wear sunscreen outside today

“Wear sunscreen, even when it’s windy and overcast outside”

That’s the advice from Met Eireann to locals in Carlow and Kilkenny who are spending time outside today.

Although their won’t be much sunshine this afternoon, the national forecaster is advising people that they will still burn in this weather.

Harm Luijkx is a meteorologist with Met Eireann, he says it will be unseasonably windy today.
