Kilkenny Rose selected for Rose Of Tralee finals while Carlow misses out

The Kilkenny Rose has made it through to the TV finals of the International Rose of Tralee Festival.

Sarah Kearns has been selected as part of a panel of 32 girls whittled down from 65 who will take to the stage with Daithi O Shea.

There’s no rest for the local woman as she’s on tomorrow evening with other roses which include cavan, Kentucky and Queensland.

Carlow Rose Emma O Byrne missed out on the final 32.
