A free ‘Talk’ about Drugs & Mental Health in Sports takes place tonight in Carlow

A free drug awareness and mental health talk will take place later this evening in Carlow.

At 7pm in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel a panel of local experts, advocates, and well known GAA faces will discuss the critical intersection between drug use and mental health issues.

The panel incluses former Clare goalkeeper Davy Fitzgerald, Kilkenny Hurler Richie Power, KCLR football analyst Bernard Horahan with a few more and will be MC’d by KCLRs own Brendan Hennessy.

Carlow/Kilkenny TD Jennifer Murnane O’Connor is hosting the event and she told KCLR News “WE NEED TO TALK!’ With that in mind – LET’S TALK!!”
