The go-ahead has been given to build a new nursing home in Kilkenny City.
The council has granted planning permission for a three-storey building that would accommodate 80 residents, with staff areas, extra service rooms and basement carparking as well.
It would be located on the Bohernatounish Road in Loughboy.
