Senator Jennifer Murnane O’Connor is calling on the government to abolish the prescription charges for medical cards in tomorrow’s budget.
She says there’s been a five fold increase in the charge under the previous Fine Gael/Labour government with many people struggling to meet their medical costs.
The Carlow senator is now calling on the government to get rid of the charge when they announce the budget at Leinster House tomorrow.
