All public playgrounds have been closed in Kilkenny

All public playgrounds in Kilkenny have now been closed.

The county council has confirmed to KCLR this morning that all 27 of the play areas that it maintains are now cordoned off

Parks and river access areas remain open but the local authority is appealing to people to respect the precautions in relation to social distancing.
