The Alternative Kilkenny Arts Fringe Festival has officially launched its 11th annual programme following a celebration launch at O’Sullivan’s Tap Bar.
A packed lineup of visual arts, music, and performance is set to run across the county from August 6th to 16th.
Committee Chair Aoife Anderson says there is a huge, diverse programme for audiences to look forward to over the eleven-day event.
“Yeah, I’m just fingers crossed that we get a bit of sun, not too hot, and that people feel comfortable to get in and around town, maybe for the first time in a while, or like that, the regulars that come in. And just, yeah, to see so many creatives. The program itself hosts 134, events, and with that, you have over 300 artists. So, yeah, we just have so much to be proud of and to celebrate. And, yeah, really looking forward to it.” said Aoife.
