The Fianna Fail party in Carlow has selected the person they want to fill Ann Aherns seat on Carlow County Council.
Andrea Dalton will take the seat left vacant by Ann after she resigned to focus on her work as a school principal.

Andrea who’s a Senior Community Worker with St Catherine’s Centre in Carlow will be op-opted onto the council at Octobers meeting of the local authority.
Senator Jennifer Murnane O Connor says Andrea will have to hit the ground running but that will be no problem to her.
