Anna May McHugh says picking a central location is vital to the Ploughing Championships

“Picking a central location is so important for this event”

That’s according to Anna May McHugh, managing director of the National Ploughing Championships.

She was speaking to KCLR after a successful three days in Skreggan, Co Offaly this week – with over 283,000 people attending.

Speaking to Edward Hayden this morning, Anna May says the next step for them now is to start organising next years event.
