A Carlow business woman was given a lifetime achievement award at the Retail Excellence awards last night.
Rachel Doyle from the Arboretum in Leighlinbridge was honoured for her 40 years dedication to retail.
The store itsself was nominated for an award but missed out.
Among the overall winners were Garvey’s SuperValu Tralee, the first ever grocery winner of the National Store of the Year Title who also won Supermarket of the Year.
