Big decisions on Brewery Site to be made by Kilkenny Council this week

Members of Kilkenny county council will discuss proposed changes to the future development of the city on Friday.

They will meet to decide on variations to the existing development plan and to adopt the masterplan for the Brewery site.

That project has gone through the public consultation process with locals invited to a series of workshops and to make their own submissions on the plans in recent months.

Councillor Malcolm Noonan says one of the elements would see a big focus on the River Nore through the city in future.
