Kilkenny, Carlow and the entire South East region looks set to benefit from a new multi million euro research centre opening in Waterford IT this afternoon.
Telecommunications company TSSG has its home there and will lead the drive towards creating 600 jobs for the region in the next 5 years.

The company already has a research & innovation hub in Kilkenny.
But founder Professor Willie Donnelly told KCLR news they hope to play a big role in the future development of the Smithwicks brewery site in the city.
