Broadcaster Gay Byrne has revealed how the swift response of paramedics saved his life after he suffered a heart attack.

In an exclusive interview with KCLR Live this morning, the former Late Late Show presenter described how getting medical attention quickly, made all the difference.

He says he was “lucky” that the ambulance was in the vicinity when he got chest pains in December last year.
