Cabinet Ministers will sign off on plans today to allow fully vaccinated people or those who’ve recovered from Covid to eat and drink in pubs and restaurants.
The legislation has to make its way through the Dáil, Seanad and President.
The reopening is expected between the 19th and the 26th of July.
CEO of the Vintners Federation, Padraig Cribben, says the vaccine or recovery requirement for adults should only be in place for a limited time and normal service should resume in the autumn.
