There’s been another call for blood donors in Carlow and Kilkenny to give blood this week.
It comes from the Irish blood transfusion service who say blood supply is extremely low at the moment.
Donors can go to Abbey Hall, Graiguenamagh this Thursday 23rd June from 5.00pm to 8.30pm.
The IBTS says its finding it difficult to sustain the blood supply.
Between the football mania, holidays and exams it is proving challenging.
