The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is calling for more blood donors as it faces a major shortage of stocks.
In particular need is the O Negative type to avoid the cancellation of elective surgeries – by tomorrow (Tuesday, 6th Oct) it’s estimated there’ll be less than three days supply.
Extra appointments are being made to facilitate donations.

Wednesday (7th Oct)
3:50pm-8:10pm: Leighlin Parish Centre St Lazarian’s Street, Leighlinbridge, County Carlow
Thursday (8th Oct)
3:50pm-8:10pm: Leighlin Parish Centre St Lazarian’s Street, Leighlinbridge, County Carlow
