Carlow and Kilkenny may not be under latest weather warning but a local event on the border has been cancelled

A weather warning comes into effect in Wexford and Waterford later this morning and while Carlow and Kilkenny are so far not included, there is an impact locally. 

With high winds set to hit he wider locality, we’ll not escape completely and so the Witches and Wizards Pumpkin Festival has decided to not operate today;

It’s part of a wider decision taken by the crew at the hosting Castlecomer Discovery Park;
