A young Carlow artist is youngest shortlisted for the AIB Young Portrait Prize
Phelim McEvoy, age 3,is among 19 other artists from across the country who have been nominated by the National Gallery Of Ireland.
His entry, Self Portrait of my Future Self, will be on display in the National Gallery of Ireland as part of the competition.
The AIB Portrait Prize shortlist includes painting, drawing, sculpture, video and photography demonstrating the breadth of contemporary Irish art
The winner will receive a cash prize of €15,000 and will be commissioned to create a work for the national portrait collection,
