Fianna Fail Councillors in Carlow say they intend to fight for a property tax cut for locals

Fintan Phelan and his colleagues want the full cut to be agreed when the council meets again this Friday.

A meeting on Monday was adjourned with Fine Gael and Labour members looking for detailed costings before they would consider a reduction.

Councillor Phelan says its not fair if other councils are able to cut the rate and Carlow cant.
