Gardai in Carlow are warning you to be wary of people posing as tradesmen to get access to your home.
A sum of cash went missing from a house in the Duggan Avenue area of Graiguecullen last Thursday night after a man posing as a workman had been there – it’s understood he was in the area claiming he was calling to inspect houses for flooding.

If you were in that area between 8pm and 9.30pm last Thursday night and saw anyone acting suspicously, or if you saw a suspicious vehicle, you’re asked to get in touch with the Gardai.
In the meantime you’re being urged to always ask callers to your home for identification.
