The Carlow IFA chairman is remaining hopeful that his name can still be included on the ballot paper for the associations Presidential elections this Spring.
Derek Deane has appealed to the executive council to include him after technology played its part in his failure to get his nominations in before the deadline.
He has to wait until they meet again though to find out if he is in or out of the race.
If the Council do find in his favour he’ll have less time than the other candidates to canvass for votes.
He told KCLR News that this is a worrying issue.
