Carlow IFA says plans by Bank of Ireland and other financial institutions to reduce their over-the-counter services are hugely concerning.
Yesterday a Labour TD accused Bank of Ireland of giving the “two fingers” to people after it announced it’s planning to go cash-free in 100 branches.
Ulster Bank did the same thing in five of its branches back in June.
Speaking to KCLR, Secretary of Carlow IFA, Marian Dalton says trying to force people into online banking just won’t work for rural areas where broadband isn’t available.
