Carlow and Kilkenny granted funding for local entrepreneurs and community groups

Carlow and Kilkenny are to get over €14, 000,000 between them to be given to local entrepreneurs and community groups.

Its part of funding for the Leader programme which will see Kilkenny get over €7,000,000 while Carlow gets over €6,000,000.

The money goes towards projects under a range of themes including enterprise development, rural tourism, social inclusion and the environment.
