Good news for Carlow/Kilkenny as Jenifer Murnane O’Connor has been appointed as a Junior Minister.
The Fianna Fáil TD was re-elected last November having been first elected to the Dáil in 2020.
She’s one of 23 junior ministers appointed this afternoon by an Taoiseach Micheál Martin.
Deputy Murnane O’Connor has been given the portfolio of Minister of State at the Department of Health with Special Responsibility for Public Health, Well Being and the National Drugs Strategy.
