Land prices in Carlow and Kilkenny dipped slightly last year.
According to the latest land price survey carried out by the Irish Farmers Journal the average paid per acre is practically identical in each county at €10,711 in Carlow and €10,740 in Kilkenny.
51 farms were offered for sale in Kilkenny last year and 22 in Carlow.
