Carlow man still waiting for bereavement counselling after highlighting his plight on KCLR

A Carlow man is still waiting for emergency bereavement counselling after highlighting his plight on KCLR last week.

Murt McAndrew – who already suffers from depression – found his brother Patrick dead in his room from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome.

He was told by Doctors that he needed emergency bereavement counselling, however he is yet to receive this.

Speaking to KCLR this morning, Murt says he’s still none-the-wiser about when he’ll receive counselling.
