Tinryland had to survive some scary moments before they emerged one point winners over Rathvilly in what was by general consensus one of the best semi-finals for many years

Leading from start to finish Palatine knocked out reigning champions Eire Og in the second minor ‘A’ semi-final.
Palatine led by 0-7 to 0-4 at half time, Palatine’s goalie Colm Heneghan made some great saves and they were the better team all through. Eire Og will be disappointed as they finished with twelve men
