Carlow are back in action this Saturday night as they face Clare in Allianz Hurling League Division 1B at Netwatch Cullen Park.
Throw-in is at 6pm, with live coverage on KCLR, thanks to Coughlan Garden Equipment.
Carlow come into the game looking to respond after last weekend’s defeat to Antrim, managed by Davy Fitzgerald. Despite that result, Fitzgerald believes the experience will stand to Carlow and their new manager Pat Bennett.
Speaking on the KCLR Hurling Podcast, Fitzgerald said he expects Bennett to have a strong influence on the team.
“That will probably give Carlow the fuel for when they play us later in the year, but I know Pat, who I worked with for a long time.
Pat is going to be really good for Carlow. He is going to be really good if the lads listen to what he says. I know they’ll be there or thereabouts in the Joe McDonagh Cup, and I know they will.”
