Carlow TD says Sinn Féin “putting Carlow at the back of the class” in Technological University paper

“Sinn Féin wants to put Carlow at the back of the class”

The words of Carlow TD Pat Deering in response to a paper published recently about the Technological University for the South East.

Waterford Sinn Féin Deputy, David Cullinane published the document which outlines plans for the proposed venture which would see IT Carlow and Waterford IT team up.

However, he says the multi-campus model should be primarily located in Waterford, which he says is arguably the capital destination of the South East.

But speaking to KCLR News, Pat Deering says this looks to be simply an effor to create conflict where there needn’t be any.
