Carlow Volunteer Centre has been given a major boost with €100,000 in funding being granted to them.
It’s part of a share of €3.5 million being spread out amongst centres across the country connected to volunteering and those who give out information about it.
The money is to help strengthen and encourage volunteerism locally.
