Carlow’s covid cases begin to climb again while Kilkenny still has one of the country’s lowest incidence rates

Case numbers of Covid in Carlow have started to climb again according to the latest figures.

74 confirmed cases were reported in the county in the past fortnight up to midnight last Friday according to the latest statistics from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.

Kilkenny had less than half that number with 36 cases reported.

It has one of the lowest incidence rates in the country now.
