It’s always a wonderful experience to have a musical moment that makes you go “Wow”. I had one such moment on Friday, February 16th. Driving home from the studio I heard three Kilkenny singers live with my colleague Ken McGuire and was transfixed by the beauty of their vocal harmonies; m so much so that I drove back up and asked if they’d come to Studio 2 to record a Session with me. They obliged and I am all the happier for it.

Bridget Cody, Siobhán Cody and Clare Lynch formed the band “Sola” out of a deep love for close harmony singing. They’re working on new material will play at Brewery Corner on March 9th.

They played two songs; the first, a cover of Carole King’s classic “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” and the second, an original  called “Light A Fire”
