An artist from Cork has won the first ever Kilkenny Portrait Prize.
Maev Kelly’s piece was declared the victor out of 80 contemporary portraitures from artists across Ireland.
All are on exhibition upstairs at Dunnes Stores in the city, curated by Blaise Smith (R.H.A.) and can be seen there until the 13th of April.
