A Carlow Councillor’s called for clearer guidance on when and where official chains of office should be worn.
Fergal Browne at a recent meeting noted that a number of chains exist across the county and it can be confusing at public events when multiple people are wearing them.
He believes clearer rules would help avoid situations where it’s unclear who is representing the council or who presents in an official role as he outlined to KCLR News’ Martin Quilty;
