Coveney expects governance proposals for Waterford-Kilkenny in next month

Simon Coveney says there is no need for worry over his plans to develop a new governance model for Waterford and South Kilkenny

The Minister says he expects to have proposals for that in about a months time.

There has been concern locally that despite his rejection of the boundary commissions recommendation to move the county boundary there are still plans to expand Waterford into South Kilkenny.

But Simon Coveney who is currently focused on his bid to be the next leader of Fine Gael says he will continue to take all those concerns on board.
