Tullow’s Dannah O’Brien has been named to start at out-half for Ireland ahead of this Saturday’s Six Nations Championship clash with Wales in Belfast.
Head coach Scott Bemand confirmed his team this morning, with Ireland looking to secure a second home win of this year’s championship.
There is just one change from the side that lost to France last time out, with Eve Higgins coming into the starting XV at inside centre in place of Nancy McGillivray.
There could also be a debut off the bench for Niamh Gallagher of Enfield.
O’Brien’s inclusion continues a strong run for the Tullow player, who has become a key figure in the Irish setup at out-half.
