Three quarters of people think a voice note should be no longer than a minute.
A survey by Pure Telecom found 45 per cent of people like receiving them, while 23 per cent don’t.
A huge majority – at 94 per cent – feel a voice note should never be longer than three minutes while a quarter of people send a voice note at least once a day according to the survey.
Voice notes are more popular with those under the age of 55 and women have more patience with them than men.
