A documentary made to show the suicide prevention work being done by a group of Kilkenny taxi drivers has won at the Galway Film Fleadh.
‘Throwline’, which tells the story of Taxi Watch had a local screening in Kilkenny City back in May but had its world premiere at the festival yesterday.
It was in the running for Best Short Documentary, and it won the award.
Derek Devoy who founded Taxi Watch told KCLR Live he’s thrilled with the recognition.
