Drop-off point locally today to donate items to Syrian Migrants

If you have any items you’d like to donate to migrants fleeing Syria, a drop-off point is being set up locally today.

St Canice’s Hall on the Grange’s Road in Kilkenny will be open until 5 o’clock this evening.

It’s being organised by the group ‘Carlow Kilkenny Solidarity With Syria’ who say all items of clothing are welcome provided they’re warm, clean, dry and in a generally good condition.

The group are also looking for any volunteers who have a few hours to spare to come along to assist with sorting and packing.
