Over €27,000 allocated to Carlow and Kilkenny festivals by Fáilte Ireland

More than €27,000 has been granted to Carlow and Kilkenny Festivals for 2017.

Carlow has got the lion’s share of the funding which was allocated by Fáilte Ireland, at €19,500.

€7,000 of that went to the Pan Celtic, while the Arts Festival and the Garden Festival got €5,000 each and the Borris Festival of Writing was granted €2,500.

Meanwhile in Kilkenny, the €8,000 allocated went to the Kilkenny Roots Festival, Cannonball, the Fairytale Festival and Rás na mBan.
