There’s some good news for those of you on group water schemes in Kilkenny.
The Minister for the Environment, Alan Kelly, has announced almost half a million euro worth of funding to upgrade and improve the quality of local water conservation works in the city and county.

Speaking to KCLR local Fine Gael TD, John Paul Phelan, says it isn’t the first time funding has been allocated to group water schemes.
However this investment is significantly higher and will benefit a huge number of houses.
