Mick Flannery’s new album ‘By The Rule’ was released on Friday May 9th,a follow up to ‘Red to Blue’ in 2012 . It’s currently Number 1 on the iTunes album charts and was album of the week in Sunday Times (Sunday 11th)
After a short tour in the US in March 2013, Mick moved to Berlin where he based himself for 7 months writing new songs. He has also toured Germany, UK, US, Ireland & Australia.
The new record was produced in Ireland with Ryan Freeland and Christian Best in December 2013 with many of the tracks recorded ‘live’ . It was recorded in Beachpark Studios in Rathcoole over a 2 week period last December and mixed in California in January 2014.
Mick plays The Set Theatre on Thursday May 15th, with support from Casey Black. Doors: 8pm.
