Eight arrests and one burglary in Carlow over the weekend

Local Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a house in Bagenalstown was burgled over the weekend.

On Saturday evening between 6 and 7 o’clock, the culprits forced their way into the house in Father Cummins’ Park and ransacked the place.

Gardaí are looking for anyone who may know anything about it to contact them in Bagenalstown on 059 9774124.

Meanwhile, 8 people were arrested in Carlow Town over the weekend for public order offences.

Most of them were for drunk and disorderly.
