Emergency services in County Kilkenny are allowing locals ‘behind the scenes’ for a look around today.

The Garda station in the city is holding an open day until 3 o’clock this afternoon.

You’ll be able to experience being ‘locked up’, or take a seat in the back of a Garda car.

Meanwhile, you can also take a look around 4 fire stations in county Kilkenny today.

Kilkenny city is open until 1 o’clock, while Thomastown, Callan and Graiguenamanagh are open from 2 until 5pm for people to have a look.
