Emergency services are dealing with what’s being described as a “substantial fire” in Kilmacow this evening.

3 units of the fire service are in attendance, with another unit en route.

KCLR News understands the fire is on a farm or in a field near the church in Kilmacow, and a large amount of hay is on fire.

Update Tuesday AM: A quantity of hay went up in a barn near the church in Kilmacow. The fire was brought under control and the fire services stood down at Midnight.
