Extra care’s needed on local routes this morning.

Heavy fog’s been reported in parts of Carlow and Kilkenny with visibility very poor in pockets.

It’s been in many areas since overnight but is expected to disperse quickly this morning.

Motorists are advised to give themselves extra time for journeys while all other road users are asked to ensure they can be seen.
