Alan O’Reilly of Carlow Weather outlines where we stand weatherwise, noting; “A cold and icy morning across Carlow and Kilkenny, temperatures got down to as low as 4.3 degrees overnight in Tullow, temperatures will stay cold this morning, and there is some freezing fog also so people need to take great care, very icy conditions underfoot, it will be another cool day, fog will linger in some areas before freezing again tonight and once again a risk of freezing fog tonight”.
