Families of residents at St Patricks on the Kells road in Kilkenny say they are still none the wiser about the impending closure of the facility.
They were told before Christmas that the plan is to close it down and move everyone out to alternative accomodation as part of the HSE’s ‘decongregation’ plans.
Its understood that some residents were moved to a hotel in the city only yesterday while work is being carried out on a new home for them.
Families are frustrated that they still have not had individual meetings with management as promised.
