Final four in Carlow football championship to be known this evening

The four semi finalists in the Carlow senior football championship will be known by the end of the evening.

There is a double header of quarter finals at Dr Cullen Park to decide who will join Tinryland and Old Leighlin in the final four.

Rathvilly take on Eire Og at 4.30 before Palatine face Kildavin Clonegal at 6.

Elsewhere, Mount Leinster Rangers face Kilbride in the senior relegation playoff at Spellman Park at 4pm.
In Kilkenny, there are two games in the Junior Hurling championship today.

O’Loughlins take on Dicksboro at the Kells Road. St Martin’s take on Ballyhale Shamrocks at Tom Ryall Park. Both games throw in at 5pm.
