Kilkenny County Council is inviting the public to have their say on plans for a new community park in Ferrybank.
A final public consultation is being held this evening at 7pm in Abbey Community College on the proposed masterplan for the former Clover Meats social site in Christendom.

The 9.5-acre greenfield site, which includes existing pitches and a clubhouse, is set to be developed into a multifunctional community park, with input from a multidisciplinary design team.
The land, previously transferred to the council on the condition it be used for recreation, is expected to become a major local amenity.
